Howdy folks!

A couple years ago, I lost 35 pounds on a similar (but now nonexistent) board. After my surgery in July of 2004, I got up to 155 in January of 2005 (I think my highest was actually 158). After a lot of hard work and support from people like you, I met my 120 goal in September of 2005.

By August of 2006, I could run 8 miles at a time and biked my first half century. However, since then, I've been bouncing slowly back up in weight and slowly back down in exercise. The other day, I hit 127, and realized it was time to start being more careful. Those last 10 are a killer to get off - I don't want them all back!!

I remember how the game is played. I'm slowly changing my eating and exercise habits again. I could feel my same problems creeping back up - eating past full, when I'm not hungry, and with no regard to healthy alternatives. I was also making excuses not to exercise.

Support from a forum like this was huge for me last time, and I hope it can be again. I also hope I can be of support to you guys!

I'm back down to running 1.5-3 miles (depending on conditions) at a time, 3xs a week. I've been biking to work and back again, which is a short ride - about 10 minutes, but there are a couple good hills. That's a start!

Anyway, I'm glad to be back because it means I'm back on my way to healthy!!! I keep all my daily food and exercise here:
