hi im new :) im 19 and a student

so i stepped on the scales today and was not ready for what i saw...238!
ARGH! HELP!

and i try and try to lose weight, and i get so far then my old habbits creep back , sat infront of the tv, computer , i automatically eat, i dont even realise im doing it half the time... im going to university in sept and i dont what the be the 'fat girl' and i feel like iv been know most of my teenage life. i dont have unrealistic hopes i know im not going to lose everything i want to before sept. i just want to feel better about myself, because right now im far from that feeling.
i carry most of my weight on my belly upper arms thighs and chest.
im a size 18 - 20 in varies in tops cos i have a large bust 40G :( i am fashion concious, and it difficult for me to dress how i want to, cos of my bust, and belly.
my goal
is to go from a size 18-20 to a size 12-14 by september.
and to dramatically decrease my bra size haha, to a 32-34 D OR DD.
i just want to feel good im my own skin, i feel like my weigh is holding me back, mentally and physically.

are my Goals realistic ? x
 
your bust size is pretty much predetermined by genetics... while it will shrink some as you lose weight, don't expect it to go from big to teeny... it might just not happen.

What's your plan to get you on your way to losing weight?
 
my plan ? exercise, as much as that word scares me ! laying of the coke, and snacks
and yer the Bust thing is ture, my mother and grandmother are busty, but only just above the nation average of 36D at 36DD and me being at 40G well thats just redicious., and to honest that what i hate about my body the most.

but with the exercise situation, because of my bust running and jogging, which i would love to be able to do , seems impossible at this stage. no matter how supportive my support bra is.
 
I assume you've tried sports bras?? Maybe you can research online and find a good one for your size?

I have heard many times that walking is just as good for you as jogging or running and is even better for your knees

Boy, hard to say. I went from a loose 18 to a tight 12 in about 45 pounds, and 45 pounds in 9 months is definitely doable if you stay on track. At 197, I was about a 36D or DD; at 145ish, I'm a 32B or C. So that's 2 band sizes and 2 cup sizes, which would take you to a 36DD - but I tend to gain last and lose first from my breasts.

I also tend to carry my weight in my thighs - my pants that are too small are all too small to go over my legs, even though they fit fine through the seat and waist. So I'm in size 12 pants, but an 8-10 top. If you carry your weight in your top, you could easily end up in tiny sized pants but still stuck in big shirts.
