you know, i've never really thought about that.. I suppose it'd be pronounced Tee-ay?

I think that as long as you feel the burn while you are using it it would work. Nothing beats the weight training for burning fat. Get you self some dumbells. They work for everything.

Is this a serious post? I honestly can't tell.

i'm here because I've never seen a forum so full of nice people. Plus, you guys don't just know a lot of stuff about loosing weight, but about how our bodies work in general. I know don't *need* to loose weight, I just want to. More than that though I want to exercise more, but I really lack motivation.

Okay, understandable. We each have our own unique views of what looks good and what doesn't.

You look very thin in your avatar though... can't imagine having to lose too much weight.

What are your goals? Do you have a diary... maybe it'd be better I take these questions there.

Oh, and yea, there are some smart and nice folks here.

Don't let me fool you though. I'm not one of them!!! :flame:

well actually the photo is from december '05, though before you accuse me of deception, I was around 118 pounds then, too- it was just lighted in such a way that it makes me look really good. It's just one of those things where sometimes, you feel like you're having a good day, and take a good photo- and later you look back on it and you may look the exact same now, but the photo still seems unreal.. and you're like "gosh, i'm hott!".. know what I mean? I could show you a completely unflattering photo instead and it would be a completely different impression.

Yea, we all have bad pictures.

I've got some that'd shock you.

Thank goodness they aren't digital.

I've never seen that; but I did used to have a thingy that was like a long tube with a spring in the middle. I could adjust the tension...the tight setting was WAY too much for me. I got my thingy at Wal Mart, I think. Same principle. :)

woah, .. *sets to work deleting those doubleposts*

.. wait... what? now they're all gone. this is weird.

I said huh that's interesting, I might give it a try afterall since it's just lying around at home. plus I like gadgets.

ahyes, the analog/digital divide. gigs of .jpgs, boxes of prints. guess our kids wont have that problem..

I have one of these! Got it in my local sports store, they said they got them on the internet and couldn't get anymore. You didn't sell it to him did you :D hehe.

LOL :smilielol5:the original gadget was renamed and sold by Suzanne Summers as THE THIGH MASTER back in the late 80s/early 90s. omg, I haven't thought about my Thigh Master in decades...hahahaha thanks for the laugh! BTW, if it had worked, I wouldn't be here on this forum!!:nopity:
