Not sure where to put this...

I am gonna post something from another forum to help you understand what I am asking..

I have a few questions for you though. I have been losing weight. About a 3 months ago 274lb..now 262lb...yesterday..260lb
So, I am losing it slowly. Back to that in a min.
How should I alter my schedule since I am a Novice....beginner...Novice :) ?
Should I just go til I'm tired..probably not, then I'd just lie to myself and go farther than i am now. Maybe should I do 3mi a day for two weeks and do 4mi for two weeks..etc..etc? I am not sure but your right about the weight. I got done doing 3 today and my muscles below my calves are on fire feel like their ready to pop. I am convinced its because of my weight too.
Back to my weight. I told my wife that I could afford to get down to 230lb so my legs would be free of pain and I could get faster than I am now. She looked at me like i was crazy. I was 255lb when she met me. She thinks id be bony. I need a argument to convince her that I could lose that much weight. I hope I wouldn't look disgusting if i dropped that much weight either. I am not joking when i say that either.


That is from runnersworld.com I wanna do a marathon in two months. I am leaving for the army in september. I am trying to lose weight because I think that is causing my pain in my ankles/lower legs. I do not want to have skin hanging off of me If I lose the weight either or i'll just keep the weight. Please ask for more details if needed and i'll help out.
