not sure if this is in the right place buy maybe you can help anyway...:)

what up guys and gals, i joined this a last year like mid winter and only posted a few things when i was working out at the gym, but i stopped going to the gym when i summer came and i could play soccer every day. anyway, its getting cold again.

and that means ive started going to the gym again, the first time i went this year, i got really bad DOMS after i was out for about 4 days.

but now when i go to the gym i lift more, with more reps, in each set. and by the last few reps im usually struggling (good no?) my arms feel like noodles after and i cant really do too much with them after, so i figure pretty good lifting that day.

but here is where i am concerned, after a few hrs the noodle feeling is gone, and i dont get DOMS in my arms. i still get it in my back chest etc...

am i not building muscle? and what can i do about it?

So are you telling us you only weight train in winter? Hmmm IMO thats pointless but like i said thats my opinion.

What is your workout like? What exactly is your goal? Do you want to build lean muscle?

Most people get DOMS, some less that others depending on diet, training style, experience in training etc etc. Just because you dont get DOMS in a certain area doesnt mean that your not building.

well i was just trying to lose weight over the summer not build any muscle, so i figured i didnt really need a gym if i was running around for a few hours every day...

but my arms routine, is pretty much a bunch of curls, i dont really know what im doing so im doing like 3x15 of like 40lbs, and stuff like that. you think i should do more weight with less reps?

as for my goal. i just want to build some muscle... maybe lose the little bit of fat i have left on my stomach, i don't really want to be huge or anything.

Well first off, to get huge takes HARD work and enough time, so no need to worry about that.

Secondly, curls will get you nowhere. Id suggest you read the stickys in the weight training section on routines and nutrition.
