Hey everyone,
I've been on this site for a while but I never officially introduced myself. I am a 26 year-old girl from the Caribbean. I wanted to say hi and share my weight loss goals. I currently weigh about 175 lbs and i would like to be 120lbs. I am 5'1 and i was looking for a weight buddy. I need all the help and encouragement i can get and i would really like an accountability partner especially when it comes to exercising.

Looking forward to posting more on my weight loss progress

Hello, and good for you finally speaking up! This whole forum can act as an accountability system if you let it. You can create a journal to keep track of your progress and people can comment, you can join monthly challenges to join in with others working to help motivate each other, you can join or create a club in the "clubs" subforum to find people who are in the same place as you or working towards the same goals to discuss methods and keep each other motivated. There are lots of ways to stay motivated and have accountability on this site, without limiting yourself to a specific single buddy.

P.S. hows the weather down there in the carribbean? i've been down there twice and can't wait to go back, although the recent 90+ degree humid heat wave we've had up here in my part of the country is sort of like having a small bit of the carribbean right in my back yard :)

The weather here is great!! :) A bit on the rainy side but thats what you get for living in the tropics.

Which island are you from? I was reading you post and I am in need of a weight loss buddy. It is so hard. I can admitt that I have not been doing nothing to lose but I think I am eating healthier and fresher but I'm gaining. My family is from Panama/Jamaica so I love to cook...maybe thats my problem...lol Oh well, if you're interested the offer is out there...good luck!
