Hi everybody!

I'm a university student in fourth year...and I'm here to get some support. I've lost and gained since age 16...struggling with ED's all these years. I'm 22 now...so...WOW 6 years of constant weight gain and loss.

I managed to get to a comfortable weight several times in my life, but lately I've been slipping again. I just stopped taking antidepressants and I think that might have something to do with it. I don't have much to lose...only 10 lbs or so, but it's really difficult, as we all know. My biggest struggle is binge eating.

Anyway, hopefully I'll get to know some of you!!!

Cheers!!! :cheers2:

I have to take anti- depressants also, although you are coming off yours. BUT I can understand when you get depressed you might not have the motivation to jump up and start doing things, like exercise. Exercise can increase the endorphins and it feels so good exercising .. I use it myself ..

and as far as binging .. I do it too and am trying to stop .. I binged last night ..

There are peeps who have these problems on this forum ...
You can do this hun ... no doubts about it...
How are you doing overall with out your anti- depressant?

Create a diary and Welcome!:hurray:

Hello! I am a 4th year student as well and am also 22 years old. I've also had ups and downs with my weight and have struggled with ED issues. Right now I am not trying to lose weight, but am trying to learn to be more comfortable with myself and stop counting calories and being obsessive. Ideally I'd like to lose 5-10 more pounds, but I am also graduating in June and want to have fun these last couple of months!! I also sometimes question whether I'd even be satisfied with my body after losing 5-10 lbs because it seems no matter how much I lose it's never good enough.

Anyway I think we are in pretty similar situations so if you'd ever like support or just someone to talk to just message me.

Good luck!! :)

Hello Nataliejo and Gymchica...

Thanks for the warm welcomes!!!

I'm trying to lose weight before i graduate (in May), so I can enjoy my summer a little more.

I'll go and create a diary right now ^.^
