Not losing any

I also eat an apple a day. I know my diet isn't sooooo great, but school gets in the way of my meal times. Because my meals should be at 8am, 11am, 2pm, 5pm, and 8pm. But school gets in the way of 2 of the meals.

15 huh --- then you prob. shouldn't start taking supplements this early. I know being 15 is hard also to keep a clean diet.

Do you go to the gym? If not, it may be a great thing to go for a daily walk. Do things that use your muscles. If you think about it a lot, it may come easier for you to do. Do you drink a lot of POP? If so, switch to DIET pop....actually switch to drinking a lot of water. I am trying to think of easy ways - or little things to do daily that would help. Really, don't start supplements at such an early age - you will find yourself on them more than you should be. Just limit the food intake..... example: if you must eat pizza, try having just 1 or 2 slices -- try to eat baked chicken instead of fried ----
Try not to put salt on foods.... It is hard, but once you start with little changes, you will find yourself losing weight........

Do you live at home? If so...... Honestly, Vacuum, Clean -- you will find you work up a sweat very easily (and you will get brownie points from parents)

Think it's harder for you to lose weight, cuz you dun have much to lose anyway. Maybe 10 lbs at most? So if you can help it, I suggest doing cardio also at night in addition to what you do in the morning. it's gonna be tough, but think it's worth a shot. ;)

That's all i think i have to lose yet, and it has been very hard i havnt lost any in a good month. I just started this week doing a mile in the morning and 1.5 or 2 miles at night. And at morning and night sit ups and crunches. And next weekend im going to go buy me some dumbells to get a little weight training in because there is no gym around here..What does everyone think of this?

I'm 15 too but next month 16...school does get in the way so i only eat around 4 meals a day in the week days..I have really cut back on the soda i barely even drink it now and if i do its diet all the way...in the morning along with my breakfast i drink 3 glasses of water with my lunch sometimes 2 and dinner 3 and before bed 1 or 2. I dont like salt all that well either. And i never have anything fried unless its a cheat meal.

get some durable plastic things that you can carry food in, and eat between periods. I would make a sandwich or make meal bars, some cold chicken.

Okay. Yeah we have a home gym in our basement so no worries about exercise here. I usually do about half an hour in the morning, but today my calf was hurting so I didn't work too hard.

Yeah, I'm probably too young for supplements, but I'm always open to new ideas!

I have been actively working out since January and I haven't lost a pound and I am very strict on my diet. It's just devastating.

I work out 5 days a week, cardio in the morning and lifting weights in the afternoon.

I am female, 5'5, 126lbs. I'd love to lose 10lbs.

Usually those last few lbs are the hardest to loose....ppl can shed 20, 30, even 40 lbs pretty easily if they're higher up, but those last 10-15 lbs are always hard to get rid of.

Instead of crackers and tuna for lunch, try low fat mayo to make tunafish and have tunafish with wheat bread. It just seems like you're barely earing.....you're doing the cardio well and all but maybe try a meal replacement shake after dinner or something...get some protein but helps with a few more calories. Aim for roughly 1800-2000 a day (depending on the age).

i would agree with the diet changes, but also, it has only been 2 weeks: give it a little more time.

dont worry about weight variations of 3 pounds. 3 pounds is absolutely meaningless. 3 pounds is probably the measurement error on a lot of scales, not to mention the fact that your weight will fluctuate by several pounds thru the day. i take my weight every day to get a general idea of what it is. for example, the last 5 days i have been 191, 194, 192, 192, 190...so i know, im really around 192 on average.

When you first start training, your first month (approximately) will be spent gaining neuromuscular adaptations to your new workouts. That is to say, your body is adjusting to the strain you're putting it under at the brain-to-muscle level.

Thereafter, your body will begin doing things like growing muscle and burning fat more willingly.
