33 y/o male trying to lose 85 pounds by tomorrow!
I'll be posting a workout related question in the weight loss thru exercise area shortly.

I have only just got round to your posting... I do try to get round to welcoming everyone - but it does take time and I do have a lot of other things to do in my life including trying to deal with my own weight issues...

Replying to yourself probably didnt help you because I do know some people that look to reply to threads that have had 0 replies... This thread had 1 - your own...

I would say a realistic target for maybe losing 85 Lbs is a year. Pick a date or an event you want to target in a year's time.

Then I think you should set yourself small and medium targets - weekly goals, monthly targets so you always have something within easy reach and when you reach them you have cause to celebrate and the accompanying motivation.

I'm 40 next week and that was my big target to lose 55 Lbs by 16 weeks ago I am down 44lbs so far and will miss my target but who cares...
