no2 works? any SAFE drugs that help?

currently i am just taking whey protein and glutamine. but ive hard glutamine doesnt really help anyways. i am looking for some other supplements to take. but with creatine and the side effects and the nasty acne you get i dont want to use that crap. no2? ive heard a few things about it but i would like to know what others think about it. i also want to take an energy/weight loss drug but with all of these new things it seems they all have ephedra and stuff. is there anything thats strictly like caffeine and natural herbs that actually works? thanks for anyone that actually reads/replies to this.

just stick to a healthy diet and excersize and the protein powder will help you gain muscle inturn burning fat. dont bother with all that pill crap just do lots of running and the fat will drop, but dont expect results instantly if only it worked that way.

creatines side effects can be over exaggerated and acne is not one of them. no2 is not needed at all. the one benefit of it is to get more of a pump. you do not need to get a pump to see results. also the research coming out about it shows it to be ineffective.

glutamines main benefits is to those with gut and digestive problems. it can also benefit those in a deprived caloric state.

follow grammatons advice, a good meal plan and training will do more than any supplement :)

arite thanks a lot guys. ill do that.

what do you suggest i do? biking or like jogging?
what should my schedule consist of like which days should i work out and how many days should i do cardio? should i do cardio on each of the off days i dont lift?

I did N02 and loved it. Of course the reason I loved it was because my pump was amazing! I would drool on my way home thinking about working out. For me, that is half the battle of doing a workout (is wanting to). So, if you find that somedays it is hard to motivate yourself to workout, N02 may be for you.

I made significant gains while on it. If you decide to try it, buy the $2 book from GNC that will help with understanding how to do it properly.

:)

i dont really understand the meaning of "pump" i just know that like ur muscles will have more of the no2 gas therefore allowing you to lift more? i dont really get it.

I didn't notice lifting more, except because mentally I was more in it. Pump is when your muscles fill with blood and expand. This is only a temporary thing, but N02 pumps them like CRAZY!!! A couple weeks in and your muscle appear to have doubled while pumped!

I am serious.

thats crazy. so other than that more "fuller look" theres not really a benefit for n02 but to look buffer i suppose?

well, if the muscles are more engorged with blood, they can work harder, so you can lift more intensly.
and afterwards, they stay pumped for hours, which helps with the initial recovery.

at least that's what the claims are. I was given a couple weeks supply to try out by a guy at GNC that thought i'd buy some. I felt more pumped, but its hard to say if that was placebo effect, or real.

nice article but, hey call it what you want! but the placebo effect made me think i could bench press 40lbs more, and i did! so uhh, mind over body? lol either way, i spent 50$ on my bench going up, and it did, so im content.

thanks for the link. it branched out to some other supplements that i've been wondering about (glutamine, creatine dose, etc).

getting my ass into the gym consistently will do more than any supplement will do.

you hit the nail on the head malkore. unfortunatley too many of us had to learn the hard way. i know i'm one of those at the front of the line. :(

abear, how do you get to part II of that article?
