Hi everyone! :waving: I am glad I found this place. I need all the advice and encouragement I can get.

I am going to be 36 this year, and I have been overweight as long as I can remember. I recently saw pics of myself from Kidergarten and I was a scrawney little thing. Too bad I can't remember back that far :). All My pics after that seem to get bigger each year. I recall buying size 20 jeans in High School.

After High School, I did the typical get lazier, partier more thing and really started to pack on the weight. Right before I turned 30, I kinda freaked out, and decided to "get fit". Well, I did lose about 40 pounds, then put it all back on plus in the following years. At age 33, I saw the highest number yet on the scale, 298, and was in size 26 jeans. I know I got even heavier because my pants got tighter, but I refused to look at a scale that would say something starting with a 3--.

I got serious and started to count calories and exercise. I went from "298" down to 230. That was last spring. Then, I'm not sure what hapened, but I just quit exercising, and slowly my eating got worse. (I am a person who doesn't like change in my routine, and I did switch shifts at work for a few months, so maybe that triggered it.) I've notice my pants feeling awfully snug so I weighed myself to find that I have regained about 25 pounds. I weighed in at 254. I have since started exercising again, and am trying to eat better. I have lost 6 pounds the last 3 weeks:hurray:.

My boyfriend of 10 years and I work opposite shifts, so he's not here to always talk me down, or cheer me up, or kick my butt when I need it. Thats where I am hoping you guys will come in this time. I am looking forward to meeting you!!
