I'm just wondering if there are any helpful tips people could provide me.
Bit of background, I've not done any proper exercise for a while and started at the end of February to get myself in gear and sort myself out. I'm 5'9'' and 70kg in weight and I'm female.
When I started exercising I recorded my weight and also measurements of hips, waist, right thigh and left thigh as I know weight may be distorted due to muscle weighing more than fat so it's not always the best indicator.
To start with I was running between 30-35 minutes 5-6 times a week, but was getting frustrated and bored easily. Over the past few weeks I've changed that to 35-40 mins of interval training 5 times a week and 2 times a week swimming for 45 mins. My calorie intake is about 1400 or less (I'm not a big eater - though before I started exercising in February, I was a bit of a junk eater).
My problem being that since I've started exercising all those weeks ago, my weight has stayed EXACTLY the same and all my measurements have stayed EXACTLY the same. I'm getting very dishearted by it all to see absolutely no results for my efforts and I'm wondering why I'm bothering, so I'm looking now for more help, tips, advice, anything that will help me to be a bit slimmer (I only want to lose at most a couple of inches). It's really getting me down and I often get upset that I'm trying so hard and nothing is coming of it. Even a couple of lbs a week would be something but to stay exactly the same is so frustrating.
