No longer want the title "cubby"

Hello all! :seeya:

I am sick and tired of the "you're not fat you're just a little chubby!" -_-"
So I decided to make that change today! I lack SO much motivation and I'm going to work my damn hardest to fit into those jeans! (even though a size 5 now only fits my friend who only weighs 87lbs... American jean sizes are CRAZY!)

So I would LOVE to make some friends. So here is a bit of the oh-so-personal things about myself that effect my weight...some are VERY personal but I believe in putting it all out there and getting the support I need.

!WARNING!
I do not want pitty. I have no pitty for myself. I want SUPPORT!

I suffer from BDD (Body dysmorphic disorder) which is pretty much I take any flaw on my body and blow it out of proportion. I do not mean to do so, it is just how my eyes see it.

I also suffer from what I have decided is a real disease, which I have proudly named "fast-food-o-holic syndrome" =P
Which is my real problem at hand.

I used to be very suicidal and have worked VERY hard on getting rid of those feelings and have done very well thus far. I am off all of my medication and on herbal drops that have been the best thing I have ever done for myself. I am generally a happy person now, but still have my snapping problems and suffer from a mild anxiety problem -but that's getting better, too!

I love life now, and I want to love it more.
I hope you can all help to support me and I will support you, too!

Thanks a ton,
Ericaskyy

Welcome aboard! I am new here too and finding that there is a lot of good info to be had! How much weight are you wanting to lose and what are you plans to achieve it? Hopefully your friend that is 87 pounds is only 4 feet tall as that seems WAY too low to be healthy!

Why are you addicted to fast food? and what are you planing on doing to overcome this?

What are your current stats?

I am just too tempted! (it was mostly a joke)
I am just simply staying away from it and if my family brings it home I eat an apple. There was this really cool apple thing I read in Women's magazine. I'll scan it and put it up in a different thread.

Right now I am 143.8 lbs and 5'3"ish. I'm a short one, alright. I don't really want to loose too much. I want to loose about 15-20 lbs, or whatever seems healthy, really. I mostly want to tone up. I found an old Palates VHS (oh yhea, still got 'em) and today y abs are KILLING ME! but it wasn't too hard and I seem to be staying a bit more on course this time.

First and for most, I see on your tracker you have lost a TON already and congrats!!!!

Second, My friend is actually very short and fast metabolisms run in her family. All of them are short, skinny little things that can eat and eat and EAT! She is very healthy. I understand why most people would think that, though. She is proportionate and you can tell she doesn't starve herself.

Third,
I've been working out and writing down my stats everyday and when I get discouraged I get on here or look at my stats. I also found this really nifty site called . It's basically a rip off of Weight Watchers only it's free and they took all ways to make sure there is no legal suite. I think it's nice to make it available to us 'lesser-income' families.
