Hi All, I'm 33 and from the UK. I currently weigh 196 pounds and at 5' 6" am apparently 'obese'. My BMI is 31.6. My goal is actually 50 pounds - seems like a long way away but they say a journey of 1000 miles starts with a single footstep. I lost 36 pounds 2 years ago but have managed to put all but 2 pounds of it back on. Weight Watchers worked for me then so I will follow that. Unfortunately I have injured myself so am struggling to walk at the moment but hope to be back to fitness and exercising again by September.

The thing is if you never start your journey you will never know if you can make it to the end. Weight Watches is a good program if you don't use your points on junk. My brother loss 30 lbs in just a few weeks. He was doing the new weight watches, fruit don't count, so I tried eating more fruit and I still lose. I lose slow, but I lose, I am almost at the end of my journey. It will still be a battle when I get to the end! I hope you heal soon so you can exercise. Keep us informed where you are at in your journey.

Thank you for that - I am in no race to lose the weight - obviously the quicker the better in terms of how you feel but I would rather do it and have a life at the same time, lol.

Well done to your brother though, that's great going !!!:hurray:
