I'm Male, 22, and 21 stone, i'm 5'9 and really want to change and think a forum like this will help me
I've started to walk to and from work (which is about 1 mile) so 2 in all and i work 3 times a week. I have also started doing 30 minutes a day on the nintendo wii fit and go for a jog/power walk 2 nights a week. I also have some weights and do afew reps, aswell as situps and press-ups.
I've swapped tea for green tea with barely any sugar (which i have changed to half-spoon sugar) and have also started having special k for breakfast (which is a meal i've skipped for years)
I have cut all fizzy pop (which i would say is my biggest problem, as i could easily drink 2 litres in a matter of HOURS) and i have also cut crisps, cakes and sweets. I have now started drinking water with abit of cordial at times.
I have thrown weight waters soup into the mix as its only 70 calories in comparison to heinz which was double that, so theres a cut back atleast and i am also having the muller light yoghurt which is 50 calories a pot. I really enjoy apples and pears also.
I was also wondering if anyone could shed some light on a question i have, i have checked on a CALORIE CALCULATOR and it says i should be consuming 1800 calories a day to lose 2 lbs a week, is this right? i was thinking i should be consuming alot less to be honest
I am open to any tips and advice to help me as i really want to make a change!!!!!! i am very committed and in the right frame of mind (dedicated) to it, so please reply, thanks
