Newcomer needs advice on diet/weight loss

Hello.

I am a 32 yr old house wife with 2 kids and a hectic life.
I want to lose 2 stone and need some help and advice. I have just joined my local gym but i have not exercised for a while now.

I need to know what to eat on a daily basis because i currently have a poor diet and little knowledge about diet type food.

I am slightly worried about the prospect of going into a public gym but i feel i must do it now as i have put it off way too long.

I hope to recieve good advice from members and anyone else in the same position as me.

My advice is to eat low fat cheese and milk and cook with it whenever you can.
drink water if you are like me and really don't care for water add low calorie drink stuff to your water or make a jug of low calorie drink.

Do not drink sodas,coke etc. sub sugar with like sweet-n-low for tea and stuff.
No fried food. I eat like grilled food or baked. I only eat wheat breads but limit my bread which is hard since I am a bread lover.

I loved grilled chicken and sometimes make a chicken sandwhich from left over chicken the next day.

I love salads but do like to eat like ranch on my salad but hate the fat free stuff so I just limit how much on my salads.

There are lots of low fat and or low calorie Recipes on the internet. I bought a couple of the Biggest Loser cook books to help me find recipes that are tried and work plus taste good.

I love the taste of food but learn to eat it in moderation. Anyhow if you need a me to post you a recipe then just give me a shout out and I will be happy too.

Good luck on your weight loss and just remember you it will be worth it to you in the end plus you will learn to eat healthier so that you can teach your children healthy ways to eat as well be around longer for them.

Its hard at times to push yourself but that is what we are here for to help each other and to also share your joy when you meet a goal of yours.
