Hi, im new to Weight-Loss.Fitness.com and i am in urgent need of advice with fitness.

A bit of my backstory, im in my early 20ties and i am a two-time cancer survivor, due to my history of medical treatment my fitness level is very sup-par, i have alot of stubborn body fat and i am not very familiar with workouts or fitness programs. However i am currently on a diet.

I weigh about 85kgs (187lbs) and my current diet consists of a 500 caloric deficiency (my recommended calorie intake is 1900, i eat around 1400 per day) and limiting my carbs to 100-150gs per day. I currently take Oxyshred every morning, and don't have much time to workout due to my current university studies.

So with my 3 month study break coming up in a couple of weeks, i would like to burn as much of my fat as possible so i can start building muscle easier in the future. My situations is a bit awkward but any advice would be appreciated, thank you for your time :).

Welcome to the forum :)

you need to be building muscle as you try to loose the fat, dieting without some form of strength training leads to further muscle loss which you don't want.

at 85 kg how tall are you ?

also taking weightloss pills is not the answer.

the oxyshred is not going to help much at all, caffeine tablets would have just as much affect but only if diet and exercise are perfect and a lot cheaper.

as for strength training, if you have access to a gym, starting strength is a good option as is strong lifts although it is important to have a competent trainer or friend make sure your doing the exercises correctly.

If your working out at home, there are lots of bodyweight exercises that can be done and the use of bands works well and don't take up much space when your not using them. There is also plenty of routines to be found on youtube, but as a beginner any routine that include all the major body parts should work ok.

Try to stay with the healthier foods. I don't believe in pills in losing weight. I have some ideas in smoothies you can take to help your diet and overall healthy body. Shoot me a message.

a healthy diet and a consistent fitness level will do wonders for anybody! just watch what you eat, and be active! that's the key to weight loss! the way your body physically looks is 80% what you put into it and 20% what you do with it! so go out there and drop that weight!. cheers :)
