hi my names charlie
i've pretty much been overweight even since i had my beautiful daughter.
shes now 4 and i can no longer blame the weight on having a baby.
im 23 and had her when i was 19, her father and i had a very destructive relationship and i sought comfort in food (it didn't help he worked in a fish and chip shop bringing the leftovers home).
when i eventually had the courage to leave him i started seeking comfort in food when ever i felt any sort of emotion. whether i was happy or sad angry or upset or just bored when i put little one to bed i always had food to turn to.
now shes just started school and i dont wanna be the fat mum at the school gates.
i wanna be fit, healthy and have her be proud of me.
plus it would do wonders for my self esteem.
i currently weigh 14 and a half stone and a size 18-20 and my aim is to weigh 10-11 stone and be a size 12 by her 5th birthday next july. im hoping to start doing an exercise dvd 3 mornings a week and have offered to take my parents dog out every morning after ive dropped my daughter at school, that combined with a healthy diet is what im hoping will help me drop the pounds.
any support advice tips or just a general chat would all be much appreciated.
baby girl mummys doing this for you for me for us!!
many thanks and i look forward to this journey
