Newcomer - Gastric Ballon!!!

Hi Im sue I had a Gastric Ballon fitted 22nd October.

I've lost 1 stone so far - Its slower than I thought.
Its still slightly uncomfortable and some of the side effects are
smelly burps and pooey bottoms and I seam to be very tired.

I would love to chat to anyone who has had a ballon at any stage through the process for updated info, tips and food ideas.

We have a great weight loss surgery section here and I am sure that you will find lots of people who have had a similar procedure.

You will be feeling great to see the weight come down. We all love that feeling.

I hope that the side effects improve soon for you. I know that surgery is not an easy option.

Yeah, hi! Don't know if you want to hear this, but I had the surgery about 3 years ago, however I managed to put on weight! Not a great achievement on my part, but real.

Pleased to say, don't have any symptoms and still - I can't eat as much as I did before, but I can still eat quite a bit. For me - goes to show that its my mind that guides my mouth and what I choose to put in it! I soooo hate being real about my PROBLEM.

Still I've come to the right place.
Glad for you though that you are doing really well! I'm sure that I am in a small minority.... michele
