Hi All,

I quit smoking March of 2009 and by July had managed to add 15 lbs to an already too large waistline. When my doctor got excited for me that I was obese enough to have gastric bypass, I decided to go to Curves instead. Since then I have lost a total of 58 lbs and 37 inches. I hit a long long plateau from Dec to March and then started cardio kickboxing which got everyting moving again! So I am now starting the couch to 5k running program. I am only 23 lbs away from my original goal weight but I think I will just keep it going and see where I end up. I turn 50 in October and I think I am going to be in the best shape of my life and I am looking forward to it. I have been doing a lot of reading here and like the training tips a lot. I look forward to spending a lot of time with you all.
