Hi Everyone! Today is my first day on the forum. I have been consistently working out for a year now. It all started as a joke when I told my brother we would run a marathon together. A year ago I couldn't run 2 miles without walking. A year later I haven't run the marathon but I have completed two half marathons...26.2 miles any way you add it. Anyhow, the Fitness/More Half Marathon last April was my first half-marathon. I knew it would rain so during my training (in the winter) I would go out in all types of weather...cold, snow, rain, sun. It really helped me prepare for that amazing day! Although I haven't reached my weight loss goals (20 lbs. to lose), I have found outstanding results in living a fitter life. I actually miss working out when life gets too hectic to go to the gym or go out for a run. Notice I said miss working out not like working out!:) I am hoping to pick-up some tips to lose the 20 lbs. I am holding onto. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Hey, welcome to the forum and congratz on getting yourself out there personally the fitness side is ther hardest part for me. I personally feel with a good amount of excercise and watching calories is a good way to maintain and lose weight. It can help in portion control and stop you eating the hidden calories ;)
