Hi, i'm new, and i wanted to say hi. I've been at least 100 pounds overweight for 5 years or so. For some reason, the fact that i wasn't gaining was comforting enough for me to do nothing about it. At Christmas time, i got on a scale at my in-laws' house and realized that i have gained another 20 lbs in the past 6 months or less, and i realized that i have to take control of my body.
So that's why i'm here. It's good to talk to people who actually realize what you're going through.
I'm just getting started. My short term goals are to get a food/exercise journal going on a daily basis and to get a realistic system for exercising 30 minutes twice a day.
I hope to make new friends here. We can encourage each other along the way.
