Hello all,

This is my third attempt on losing weight by exercise and eating right. I am afraid that if this attempts fail it will be my last. Have been working out with the wife for about a month and a half. I have lost 14 lbs and I am afraid that that will be all the weight I lose because all I have been doing is cardio and some weight lifting. Would really like new ideas of working out? Any suggestions????

In addition to exercise you have to eat the right way. You have to drink atleast 100 oz of water per day and eat 5-6 mini meals. You want to eat every 2-3 hours to help keep your metabolism fueled which will keep you burning! hope this helps.

Try and stay positive- 14 pounds is an excellent start. I'd read some of the tips around the website and try changing up your workout- if it becomes too stagnant, it may slow down your progress.

and water, water, water! ;)

word....first of all welcome :D..... next i would like to address the front portion of your post.....we have to realize we are not in a race....this is a lifestyle and even if you lost 100 and gained it all back you still need to get up and move forward again....never give up some one said that above and a member here named steve taught me that :D
 
If you want to lose weight - determination and hard work are the most important things - and yes welcome here. You'll find lots of great information and wonderful weight loss ideas on this forum. my best wishes are with u!
