Hello all, I'm excited!
I am embarking on a 3-4 month weight loss journey starting today, I've started many days before, but I've come to revelation that this is it and it's now or never.
My plan is to exercise twice a day 6 days a week (resting on sunday) with 30-45 minutes of cardio. Some light weight lifting will be included with the Jillian Michaels/Biggest Looser Series.
My diet will consist of lean meats (chicken and fish only) and fresh veggies, and low sugar fruits (apples, berries, grapefruit etc).
The exercise won't be a problem, but the diet is another story. I have late classes on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays that run from 5:30-8:20pm that cuts right across dinner time. Could anyone suggest some healthy snacks, besides carrot sticks, that won't spoil the diet? Are banana chips okay? I thought about almonds, but someone in my class has a bad nut allergy, so bad that the scent of nuts make her sick.
Also, is it possible with this plan that I will loose 30lbs in 3 months. I'm currently 162 trying to get 130-135 by May. Then I'll eventually work my way to 125-130lbs, depending on how much I gain in muscle. If my body looks great then I won't look at the scale, I'll just work at the comfortable weight I have. I was 130-135 before and felt pretty good about my body, I had more muscle so I was not chunky.
Any advice is welcomed, thank you all.
