Hi everyone i just started my diet 3 weeks ago and have so far lost about 8 pounds mostly from not overeating anymore and keeping myself from snacking, and walking on my treadmill, im 4 foot 11 and weighed eighter 169.5 or 168 it varied now im down to 160 yay, but my question is after I get done exercising I get real tired and dizzy sometimes but I dont really work out that much. If I use the treadmill its for only 20 minutes a night, light walking and then afterward im so tired from it but when I walk outside its a different story am I just weird lol anyhelp would be great! Thanks

sometimes treadmills can do that - it's like being seasick - because you are moving on the track, but you aren't really going anywhere... I don't know if that makes any sense, but I do know some people are more susceptible to motion sickness than others.

thanks

Thanks I never thought of Motion Sickness, I get tired from walking if im walking outside but not dizzy, but the treadmill makes me tired and dizzy even if I take breaks thanks alot ill try walking outside more now.

no problem =) I don't know if there is a scientific explanation for it - but I just know it's my experience also... different treadmills actually work in different ways, so some may not cause such an effect for you. At the gym, I do fine with one brand, and the other makes me feel a bit like i'm walking on a boat when I get off. =)

i run everyday on my treadmill . i use to get that exact feeling every morning . i started eating a package of instant plain oats about 30-45 min. prior to my run . havent felt that way since

It's not just you!

I am also "dizzy" when I get off of the treadmill. It takes me a couple minutes to feel "normal" after being on it for a while! It's not just you!

Oh, I used to have a terrible sensation after I used a treadmill. I would get off it and have trouble walking, because I felt like I was going REALLY FAST when I was just walking slowly. Almost like my feet were sliding along. It was very disorienting.

A similar thing occurs when I drive for hours. Sometimes when I stop, I feel like I am moving ahead still, like everything I see is getting closer. Very weird! Brains can play odd tricks.
