Hi everyone!!!
I have spent a whole year lurking and now I am ready to bust out of my shell!
I am a 24 year old mom. My son was over 8 lbs and my tummy is very soft to prove it. I am actually not overweight, but I would like to severly tone and decrease the size of my body.
Currently, I wear an 8 and would like to be a 3-4 again. All of my life, I have been small because I was a dancer and a cheerleader. It seems as though having a child slowed my metabolism.
I have this weird dream I would like to strive for...don't laugh....okay...here it goes:
I want to be a pro-cheerleader. yeah..go ahead and take a minute to laugh at me....
So, I went after my dream last week and got cutt. Since I know that my dancing is good...I asked the director why. It was because of my fitness. I have larger thighs, and my stomach is quite soft.
Because of how stubborn I am...I am going to try out next year. This gives me a YEAR to get my body TIGHT and where it needs to be.
I need lots of tips. Currently, I jog and do weights.. but that is just maintaining my weight, not helping me lose it or give me the appearance of lean, toned muscles. I don't want tobe overly muscled, I just want a chizzled, small body that is that of a cheerleader. Think Dallas Cowboy Girls...
Any work out recommendations, etc?
