Hey All!
Well, I've never ever joined a weight loss forum before..mainly because I never thought I would need to..and also because I felt(note the past tense lol!) that it demonstrated a lack of personal discipline.
To introduce myself...I am a 21 year old female who currently weighs at about 148 pounds/ 68kg at my worst. 3 years ago...I was 58.5kg, reasonably fit, reasonably toned & was as active as could possibly be! 128 pounds is the ideal weight for someone of my height...so I have a reasonably amount of fat to get rid of!!
Unfortunately, a failed romantic relationship, the trials of moving overseas, developing bad overeating habits at college, and the temptation of emotional eating has gotten the better of me. Each time I've gained...I've attempted(poorly) to lose. My 21st birthday wish was to get back down to my original weight..and initially it looked like I was started to lose a bit..my somehow my plans have unravelled and I'm finding it very hard to be motivated.
This is in addition to the fact that I have PCOS..and really need to be strict(which I am just finding difficult...I blame it on poor mindset!). I realy don't want to get Diabetes when i am older..and would also love to have kids f my own..however, if my weight is not controlled, adverse effects are more likely to ensue.
I've actually been very big on health..and probably know alot more as the average person..as I am studying to work in the health industry. I should also be more disciplined..as my future career definitely leans towards having and promoting good fitness!
So, enough of my story- just wondered if there was anyone who might have been in my place before. I would love to have an online buddy of sorts, so that we can motivate each other in our endeavours for weight loss!!
