I'm 21, will be 22 in August. I'm 5'3.5" and...I hate saying this number...190 pounds. I used to weigh 160 and then I lost a bunch of weight by going to Curves. I got down to nearly 130 pounds but I still felt fat. I had to be thin, the perfect girl, perfect flat stomach, small thighs, etc..

Now that I'm 190, I feel like I wasted that time. I was pretty then and I didn't know it. I was looking at really skinny girls who barely reached 120 when wet, and felt like I had more weight to lose. I'd give anything to look that way again...

I eat when I'm bored and anxious because my nerves aren't in the best shape. So now I'm trying to stop myself from doing that and I'd like to be able to lose 15 pounds this summer. I don't feel like going back to curves so I gotta find a way to do this on my own and I feel lost. =/

Welcome to the boards and good luck with your weightloss!

I weigh similar to you and am a couple of inches shorter than you. I know the feeling of being uncofident about your looks when you are overweight. It's not very nice and you end up not meeting new people.

I'm not on any gimmicky diets. Just eating a calorie controlled diet and doing regular exercise. I think that's the best way to go.
