Newbie Needs Help

hello everybody, I just joined the site and it seems like I have ran into a bunch of success stories but ughh I dont know where to start??? .. anybody on a diet that brought them success? anything specific, as for exercise im doing the gym thing and the walking and active little things, i just need a good diet plan to go along with it!.. Thankz 4 readin me =]
 
How about you start by not looking at the success stories and start reading the stickies found at the tops of all the various subforums. You'll realize we don't really promote any particular diets here. Healthy, rational/logical lifestyle modification for the long term is what we push around here.

The stickies are valuable so don't take them for granted.

A little help

Hello. Just thought I'd let you know what works for me. Drink about 100 oz of water daily. Eat 6 small meals a day about every 2 to 3 hours. Try to cook without using oils or too much salt and eat a lot of fruits and veggies. Walk at least 45 min a day and do strength training 3 times a week. It's worked for me so far. I've lost 14 pounds in less than a month. Hope I helped a little. Good luck.
