Newbie looking for support...

Hey Everyone,

I just found this site today and after seeing all the friendly posting decided to join. I'm 23, 5'4 and 286 lbs. I'd like to get down to about 180 by this time next year for my best friends wedding. Over the last few years I've yo-yoed but now i'm determined to get the weight and keep it off. Any advice would be most welcome :)

It's not hard, just takes faith and focus. You can eat anything..it is all about moderation. You are going to get more calories usually out of bread and the like but you CAN EAT THEM. Start with a food diary like others here for least a week (I usually suggest 2). Be completely honest about what you eat because we all tend to underestimate your calorie intake.
