Newbie looking for buddies

Hi Jilly....I'm pretty new here too and our goals are very similar. I weigh 248 and would like to be somewhere between 175-185. I also had a pretty bad weekend. After 3 weeks of doing good, I hit the wall. We had friends over this weekend, and everything went out the window. No exercise, and REALLY bad food choices. Tomorrow is Monday, and I'll start again. Hopefully this weekend won't set me back too far. Good to know someone else is at about the same place I am...take care!

Well I can tell a difference in my size 24 jeans. I can take them off without unzipping them, but the scales say different. I hope I'm just building muscles.

I noticed somewhere earlier in the column that someone loved cooking and that was part of the problem, I have been going to eatingwell.com, it's a very neat website with tons of healthy eating ideas, my wife and I have been picking one each night and cooking them together, it makes it really fun because we get to try new variations of the same old thing (usually chicken) anyways you should check it out because they have tons of great things on there, including healthy variations of some very unhealthy things! Good luck and keep ur head up!
