NEWBIE- looking 4 motivation on this wl journey!

Hi everyone,
My name is Gabby.. I am only 18 years old,I'm a student living on my own in Montreal/canada(so it was easy to pile on the pounds).. I am 5'8 and a harsh 212 pounds.
I am tired of everybody thinking I am in my 20/30s! I am only 18, and I would love to look and feel this way.

Today is my first day of my weight loss journey, I will not be on a diet, simply eating healthier, smaller portions and working out.

My problem area is my stomach area (my muffin top) espicially since i look almost 9 months pregnant!! but I can assure you I am not ;) . If anybody has any tips or exercises to tighten and lose fat in that area it would be great!

I am only looking forward from here, ready to start my lifestyle change!

It's great your thinking of losing weight not as a diet but as a lifestyle change :0)

I'm 5ft 5" and weigh 220lbs just a little heavier than you. I did fantastic the 1st 3 weeks after joining here and lost my way again. I need loads of motivation and encouragement and have loads of it to give as well - after all we are all here for the same reason.

I have 28days to try and make an impact in my weight loss and make a difference, I'm just now sure now how to go about it. I thought I did but seems I do not.
So what kind of exercise will you be doing?
My muffin top is the bain of my life - I absolutely hate it so if you come across any tips etc then please let me know xx
