Hi All. Well I like to start saying I am glad I found this website where so many others are being supportive and trying to accomplish losing weight and becoming healthier. I am a mother of 3 children 2 boys ages 3 and 2 years old and 1 girl 6 months old. I really hadnt had a problem with my weight before I had my third child. After I had my first 2 children i weighed around 146 which is a little on the heavier size for my height and frame though I was still considered in a healthy range. I am around 5'4 to 5'5 small frame my start weight was 162 on January 2nd,2008 thats when I started dieting and exercising My current weight is 153.9 thats a total weight loss of 8.1 pounds my goal weight is 128. I would like to accomplish my goal by the end of april 2008.

Two lbs a week is possible and within healthy limits. I hope you can contine your 8 lbs a month, I like to shoot for 1 lb a week because a loss is a loss. Keep in mind that it will be much more difficult to keep losing as you get closer to a body weight that is considered "stable".
