Newbie intro

I'm new to this forum. My name is Jessica. I live in VA with my hubby and 4 little girls. My best friend told me about the Rice diet and I decided to read up on it and give it a try. I'm looking forward to learning all sorts of things from everyone and getting advance.
I've tried Weight Watchers (which worked I lost 20 pounds), counting calories (which worked), and Atkins (I lasted 1 1/2 days).

I suggest you check out the sticky threads on nurtition and exercise to get some ideas of creating a plan.

Also, I am curious as to why you want to lose weight? What makes this time different than that past "diets" you have tried? It's all about making a lifestyle change in the positive direction... not just a quick fix.

What are your goals? And your stats... height, weight, how much you are wanting to loose.
