Hello all, my name is Chris and I'm 23 years old. I am only 4 months (& 2 classes) away from a M.S. in Exercise Science. I currently work for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Research Assistant.
I've published 2 articles, 1 on the internet (at Obesity Help) and 1 in print (Obesity Help magazine). I've worked for Velocity Sports Performance as a Strength and Conditioning Coach, which is where I learned a lot more about the practical side of exercise science, not just the theoretical.
My personal exercise is a mix of strength training, aerobic exercise, as well as martial arts. Ju-Jitsu and Taijiquan are the 2 disciplines that I have the most experience in and have spent the most time researching & analyzing.
I joined this forum as a way to help others and also as a way to learn from others. I have a philosophy where I can never stop learning, that there is always something else to learn.
Thanks for having me!
