Okay so I woke up this morning and decided I cannot and will not live like this anymore. The problem, I have absolutely no motivation past that thinking. I need support and wow that was probably the hardest thing to say out loud. I am overweight, that's not a secret to me, but asking for help, that's the hard part. I need to lose over 100 pounds and I am in need of someone to slap my laziness right outta me. Been trying to navigate through the forums to find a good shopping list for a 1200-1500 calorie a day diet as I would like to go grocery shopping today and really begin the "journey". Thoughts, comments, support, anything and everything welcome. Thanks in advance just for listening.:bigear:

Night I ask your starting weight because I'm wondering if you might be cutting your calories too sharply all at once. Might I offer an alternative? A food diary for one week. Write down what you eat (honestly) every day, every little bit. At the end of the week, look back and then start making changes instead of looking at changing your entire diet and cutting down so sharp that it might make it harder than it already is.

To be honest I am the type of person that needs a lot of structure and routine. Unfortunately I know the pitfalls of being too restricted, and I know that 1500 calories a day may seem extreme (especially since I am so very overweight), however at this point if I do not see some extreme weight loss in a few weeks of starting the routine I will fail. So I am not saying that I will not adjust accordingly if I feel like I am not getting enough or want to "cheat", but just trying to map out a good plan so to speak.
