I just want to say that I am also short...5'2" also...and I recently lost 40 pounds and am currently maintaining that loss. I am also a bit older than some...50 to be exact, so I just want to say that it can be done. I feel like it is harder for us older gals, since our metabolism has slowed down and we are fighting fluctuating hormones as well. It takes a strong dedication and a combination of healthy eating, plus exercise to be successful with any long term weight loss. For me, the exercise alone did not work, it took both that and eating right for the pounds to start dropping. But, once I got the hang of things, I was very successful.
You are wanting to lose 35 pounds...what is your starting weight? For some, it is easier to break up that big goal into smaller, more atainable goals...say 10 pounds for the 1st goal, etc...
