Hi! My name is Reva. I'm 33, 6' and about 180 pounds right now. It's getting harder and harder to lose weight as I get further into my 30's. I'm looking to get down to about 147-150. Right now I am just looking through all your wonderful posts and getting some inspiration. Keep up all your good work everyone! :hurray:
 
Hey Reva!! Welcome to the forums! As a fellow newbie, I can truly say everyone here is inspirational and has made some great changes to their lives... I too am tall (5'11"), and weighted 182 about a month ago, and I've lost 5 pounds by joining the Y and doing strength training 2x a week, and cardio 4x a week, as well as eating under 1800 cal. I've never really exercised before... what's your plan of attack? Diet? Exercise? Sometimes even small changes make a huge difference. Good luck! Keep us updated!

Take some time to read the stickies. you could also start a diary to keep track of your diet/excersize goals.
