Well, here i am, about to turn 30 and the weight is starting to stick!! its hard to believe that 4 years ago, at this time, i was a whopping 120... and it thought i was fat!!! oh, to be that fat again! just wanted to say hi and hopfully find some new friends to join in on my journey of toning up, and looking better at 30, than i did at 20!!!:seeya:

hey everyone, thanks for the welcome!! i havent decided on on plan. i was doing the atkins for about a month. i actually started feeling really unhealty toward the end. I dont believe in a diet where i can have as much bacon i want, but a banana is out of the question. i plan on just making sure that i am active everysingle day and portion control. i have found that it is easier that allow my self to have tiny portions of whatever i want, then to say completely no to something. i end up binging if i do that!
 
I had also done atkins for about 2+ months and loss some weight (and eventually put it back on). I too decided to give it up as I can't imagine feeling guilty eating fruit daily. Now it's everything in moderation within a calorie range. It's coming off slowly but it's coming off and I feel alot healthier.

that's a brillaint approach! Atkins is unsustainable and leaves you feeling moody and low... regular exercise, portion control your carbs and allow yourself to have your favourite foods and you're onto a winner!

I've noticed that too :D As to my plan: I eat around 1500 kcal per day (just like You - anything I like but in reasons) and I try to exercise (at least a little) every day. I jog 3 times a week for 45 minutes, plus strength training (also 3 times a week), plus elliptical for 25 minutes (but rarely :blush5:).
