Hi. My name is Steph. I am in my mid 40's. I am finally ready to lose the weight I gained when I had my son 9 years ago. I attempted once before and did ok but I had some health issues and plummeted badly. Well I am about 90% better and up for the challenge. My metabolism is still a bit slow ( I have started walking slowly)Speaking of which I got 5 women locally to our version of the biggest loser. I also have a friend who turned me on to a hypnosis weight loss cd and between the 2 have lost 21 lbs so far.
So I am here because we are doing the biggest loser again ( 8 people this time)and I would love some new suggestions. Our group NEEDS MOTIVATION. We had 3 people lose only 1 lb. Mainly we just weighed in. We did not have much structure. Any suggestions?

Hello!! I'm intrigued about the hyponosis CD. I have a VHS tape that is similar, I need to watch it again. How did it work for you?

I have lost 20 lbs so far

It's GREAT! I found it very helpful. I have lost 20 lbs so far and have another 20 to go. I listen a few times a week. I have listened to some others and really like DR H voice.
Dr H voice is melodic and soothing. It gives you great visualization!
You can check it out at
Let me know what you think.

I felt...

Almost immediately without doing anything consciously I was making better choices(going for hummus, carrots or fruit instead of junk) I had a desire to do some kind of exercise and I was drinking a lot more water( also made myself sun tea). I took out the jeans that were my first goal and I felt I could fit into those. I could actually remember myself in them!!! I got up from the CD and felt I had more energy. I was motivated.I was psyched. I still am. That's why I started a version of Biggest Loser. Some local people I know and don't know are getting together and doing this for 10 weeks. I like doing things with others. Keeps me going. Makes me more accountable. I have to tell you I don't care if I am the BIGGEST Loser as long as I am on the road. But its fun to win!!!
Take care, Steph
