Hi guys.. found this site online and decided to join... I've struggled since high school and recently started working out.. However, I still eat a lot, and I'm finding it VERY difficult to control what I eat... I'll immediately regret it after I eat a big meal... so by joining this forum, I feel like I'm signing a contract with myself, and am making a commitment..

Wish me good luck!
Thanks.

Hi Cheesecake
Welcome to the WLF and best of luck to you as you reach your goals :)

heya glad u made the first move to join this forum! as to overeating, try eating only when there's someone with u? so u won't overeat.. eating when u're alone just makes u lose control of what u're eating.. all the best to u! =D

good luck!!! you can do it! :)

there are a lot of very helpful, supportive people here, so you have come to the right place! welcome!

Haha... cheesecake... :p I can honestly say I have an incredible baker/pastry chef and she makes the most incredible cheesecake.. at night when im locking up, i can hear it calling my name and begging me to eat it :p .

I think every one of the successes on the boards will tell you that dieting is 80% of weight loss! Discipline is the hardest, but ultimately the key to weight loss. Keep track of what you eat; you wont die cus you went to bed slightly hungry (dont starve yourself though). Any eating 2 hours before bed is hindering your efforts also. Make a meal plan... Say to yourself, "Self; today we are eating one breakfast; then one snack before lunch; after a that we are eating a lunch (not a cow); and when that settles we will try another small snack; dinner and if needed one last snack if there is time before the red line (food cutoff point)."

What is breakfast? a (single) bowl of cerial; yogurt; oatmeal.
A snack? How about a small baggie of pretzels, an orange, maybe a peach (amazing fruit for weight loss).
Lunch? A small serving of veggies and maybe a turkey wrap.
Snack number two? same thing as snack one.
Dinner? The gravy of the day; a reward to be had, but not over indulged! Make yourself something nice, and before you serve yourself, put the left overs away!!! you know what you need.
Lastcall? I love skinny cows but only when I was a good dieter all day!

Bads!!
PBJ has the same nutritional value as a NY strip!!! Its not on the dieters menu.

Bananas are great for you; once or twice a week.
Start a journal on the site!!!
