Welcome Paul, and congrats on your progress so far. I'd suggest browsing through some of the stickies and start yourself a journal. You might also consider reading some other's journals here to get to know a few of the regulars.

Welcome to the forum Paul. 41 pounds is a great start. You are doing brilliantly.

As Steve says - there are some great sections on exercise and nutrition. If you havent already tried counting nutrients you can register at no cost on and use it for counting calories and all the other nutrients that you see mentioned for nutrition. If you key in your profile information and log your food and activity - you can see your calorie balance.

Starting a diary - see who visits and visit them back in their diaries / visiting some diaries and leaving a message - these are both great ways of making friends. So too is joining clubs and challenges and posting there too. Generally the more you post - the more friends you are likely to make. All these friends build your support network - which keeps you going through the tough times....
