Newbie Here... Desperate for Support

Hi everyone!

I joined today because I have decided I cannot reach my goals alone. My whole life I've either had a team or a coach guiding me and supporting me and now that I've graduated from college, I feel completely alone in my quest for improvement. I want to know there are people out there constantly struggling to win the mental and physical battles that come with wanting to lose weight and get fit.

I need help, and most certainly want to help others as well!

I have a very hard time with motivation. That's probably my main problem.

I realize this post is kind of all over the place, but hey it's a start. I hope to meet some great people here... I'm also considering starting a weight loss diary.

But for starters, I just wanted to say a big hello to everyone out there in forum land!:waving:

You came to the right place for motivation!! The people here are amazing and you will make new friends that support your efforts in no time! I suggest you check out the sticky threads in both the nurtition and exercise area for tips on how to get started. And yes start up a diary! It will let everyone here get to know you better and it will make you more accountable for your actions!!

Getting started is the hardest thing to do, especially if you're one of those people who want instant gratification (like me ;))! But, once you start seeing the pounds coming off, it becomes one of the few *good* addictions you can have!
You're definitely in the right place. Best of luck to you, and make sure to post any questions or troubles you're having.
