Hi Everyone,
I am hoping to join your community, to encourage others in the same situation as me and hopefully find some support for the hard times!
A little about me...
Height: 5'5
Current Weight:184 lbs (I have lost 12 lbs in the last 3 weeks due to relocating from Canada to China
Weight 2012/2013: 195 lbs
Weight 2008/2009: 160 lbs (stayed at that weight for 9 months, before that I was at 172-175 for close to 1 year)
Weight Post 2008: Low 179 lbs and High 204 lbs
In my teens up until I was in my early twenties, I have always worked out...at times less, at times very "religiously".
Growing older and I realize more than ever that life is a huge balancing act. I have tried losing weight countless times, but every time something made me drop the ball. That "something" has never been anything else but "myself" (i.e: critical voice, perfectionist voice, judgemental voice, self consciousness, etc). I am hoping that this time around I have learned my lesson and that I will not allow these voices to sabotage the hard work I will be putting forward.
I hope to remain as grateful as possible for each step that I take towards achieving my goal of a healthier mind in a healthier body.
"Fighting!!"
