Newbie - Gastric Balloon Advice

Hi I am a 56 year old lady who has struggled with weight problems almost my entire life. I live in South Africa, but was born and bred in Manchester, United Kingdom. On 20th April I am having a gastric balloon fitted and I am scared to death. Would appreciate any advice from anyone who has had the same.
