Hi all! Glad to have found this site! I've been looking for some support and motivation to get back into losing weight.:grouphug:

My name is Jaime and I've about 100lbs to lose. More actually, but for right now...my long term goal is 100. Short term goal is about 8-10lbs a month.

I had lost about 25lbs last Feb-April and was doing well until life started getting terribly hectic...and somewhere along the way I just lost my motivation...and the days I missed workouts turned into weeks, and then months and so on.

But now I intend to get back on the bandwagon. I'll soon be graduating from college with a medical degree, and would like to be a good example to patients rather than being overweight and preaching to them to lose weight.

I've got a healthy, gorgeous body under this layer of stuffing....And I intend to let it out!

Thanks for listening and being here! Im off to browse some of the other threads I have not checked out yet! See you all around the board...and hopefully I can join in each week with my weight loss progress!

Hello and Welcome to the boards! I have seen you write on one other thread.... I just have to say I agree with you about "dating of your league" thread ...

I weigh about the same ...and have been losing since last January.. I weighed 320 at Christmas 2006 and now weigh 274.8..

look forward to reading your diary if you make one and commenting
on your diary thread if you make one lol
but you might want to come up and check out the 200 club ..we have already had a couple newbies in the past couple days ...

We are fun and supportive and the thread ..

Welcome and good luck.

You have a great goal of 10-12 lbs in a month.

Keep your goals and motivation at the front of your brain, and you will succeed. Don't beat yourself up, but remember that you are doing this for a better life. There is always today and tomorrow, so never worry about yesterday!
