I'm usually confused as to where to start posting on forums when I join then, so thankfully this one has an obvious answer. Hi, I'm Patrick and I'm 22 years old. For years I've been telling myself I'm going to discipline my eating habits and develop an exercise routine. For years, it never happened. For the longest time I weighed 190 lbs, then early last year while I was working at UPS, I shot up to 210. Once I quit UPS and went to a call center job, I suddenly gained another 20. I finally peaked at 245. After several of my friends got bikes, I decided to give it a try myself, and it has since become my savior. I started riding my bike last fall, and developing a serious routine of it this past winter. Since February I'm down to 225. My goal is 175, but for now, I'm taking it one step at a time. I've started to plateau in a since, and so I'm now looking to alter my eating habits. I've primarily stayed away from steak and beef, but I do eat fried foods often. I've given some thought to vegetarianism to help discipline myself, but I'm not so sure I could survive without the protein. Anyways, that's my spiel.
