Hey all,

I have been doing my weight loss program for around 3 or 4 months now - just been trying to watch what im eating and I have joined a Gym.

So far I have lost around a stone, im now 16 stone 12 pounds - but my weight loss seems to have stalled, I can't seem to shift anymore weight! Thought I would sign up here and see if anyone had any tips to kick start it again!

I go to the gym around 3 times a week and work mainly on cardio (bike and treadmill - also swimming) - I also do a little weights at home. Why can't I shift anymore weight!?
 
That's a great sticky! Definitely look it up to make sure that you're eating right. Nutrition plays the biggest role in weight loss; you can safely lose a pound or two a week by just eating right.

The other things is - if you've been doing the same thing in the gym for the last 3-4 months, chances are you need to change it up. Either do faster speeds for shorter times, more weights less cardio, whatever you can do to "shake up" your program. If you do the same exercises for a long period of time, chances are your body will just get used to them, and will not produce the same results. It's recommended to change up your program every 8-10 weeks, just to keep shocking your system. :)
