Hi all. I am 33 years old 5'8 202lbs mom of 2 toddler boys. After my second baby I blew up, I now weigh 25lb more than I did when i was 9 months pg with him. My blood pressure has been high since I gave birth to my second boy 2 years ago. January of this year I was 4 months pregnant and I miscarried. I gave birth to my baby in the middle of the night at home and held his lifeless body in the palm of my hand. I know it was due to the bloodpressure and I know the blood pressure was due to the weight. It was a real wake up call and I have been determined to lose weight, get healthy to make it up to my baby and so that i will be around for my other two boys. I have struggled this year trying to lose the weight, I recently had lost 10lbs and was feeling great and then the damn holidays hit and i gained it all back and then some. I feel I can do it again but it would be great to have some support this time with others going through the same. So thats my story excited to have found this site! :)

thanks, I have a plan that i know works, cake mix shakes are not for me. Once I start exercising my body craves healthy foods. Its a matter of getting off the couch and being consistent. I was walking/running everyday but then the snow came with 20 degree temps AND WONT STOP! and threw me off. It doesn't take alot to throw me off. If I don't exercise one day it turns into two, and then three ect. Its all or nothing with me. I plan to buy a treadmill this thursday.

No worries... I am working out now too... Just started yesterday.. There is more to it than cake mix. It's a complete program with tracking software and all.. If u want to see the way it tracks your progress let me know... Over 12,000 people joined the challenge last month.

sorry, I wasn't trying to put down the cake mix shakes, :) I am sure it works great for alot of people. Just not for me, but i appreciate the advice. :)
