Hi everyone! I just found this forum and im already motivated to get this started. I'm in awe of the before and after pics! ok so a lil about me!

I am 31 and very happily married.11 yrs ! we have 4 children,ages 5-12. I have my hands full since Im a stay at home mom and my youngest was diagnosed with ADHD.He is a wild boy..whewww,lol .
Right now I weigh 198..ive lost about 15 lbs,slowely just from making small changes since september..Its a good start.I started Herbalife.The products are amazing and all natural...Ive lost 5 lbs so far in just a couple days.(thats a part of that 15 I lost).I'm 5 ' 7 My goal is 140..I know i can do it..im excited! I have a lot of changes going on right now and this is coming along with me in my journey!!

We don't tend/like to support Herbalife on this forum so don't expect much enthusiasm about the products, I'm afraid. Either way, welcome to the forum and good luck :) Sounds like you're doing well xx
 
I don't have an opinion about Herbalife because I'm not familiar with it. Most folks here just use regular food and exercise to lose weight.

Why not start a food diary here?
 
Sooo,I typed it in the search area and now I see why,haha....Im not dependant on the stuff because I do know how to lose weight without it..But I do like the shakes:) I will not be on the products forever..just another few weeks then Im done with it..It takes a little too much time to prepare and I always tend to go off track when Im running around town..But so far so good..I feel more energy for sure..!!
 
That's good. Eventually we all want to stop spending on these products and groups. You are self-reliant and just this forum, I found, helped me stick with my food plan and exercise. Keep posting.
 
yea, here at WLF we like to encourage a lifestyle change of eating healthier, moving more :)

It sounds like the 2 of us have alot in common! I'm 32 and I have been married 9 years (tommorrow, yes, vday) i have 2 girls, 13 and 7. I'm 5'7 and I weigh about 235...so pretty close in stats.

being a mom IS a FULL TIME job! I can't imagine having 4 kids! phew! good luck to you on your journey :)
 
Hi Nicole! Welcome to the site! I agree with the others above... I think the goal of most on this forum is to try to lose weight through healthy diet and exercise, although I think I'd be correct in assuming that most people have tried at least a handful of the diets or diet supplements out there, so no judgement for trying!

Best of luck! Look around at what others are doing & ask lots of questions if you're unsure about anything!

I saw you added me as a friend, so i thought I would stop by and welcome you.

You can reach your goal in no time, I have faith in you! I started off at 171 and am now down to about 128-130, and I really thought I would never do it.

You may get some flack for using herbalife or any other supplement, but know you can do it without them (as I am sure you already know that). I have been guilty of using pills, and although most will say they don't work, I have found a couple that I have found do, but I will never advertise them or recommend them over the board as it is clear there are unknown health risks associated with all "weight loss" aids. But, I am glad you are finding a grove thatworks for you, and if you pick up any helpful tips on the forum I hope it is how to eat right and work out to get you to a healthier you :)

I look forward to seeing your progress, just remember to always keep your head up.
 
OH MYYY..Thank u for your post :) Ive been so down the past couple days....Ive not lost any lbs..In fact I think I have gained 1 or 2..But I also thing im about to start...Ive lost all motivation and today I had crappy cereal and 2 cookies... When I start off my days like this,I usually screw up the rest of it since you know,I alreasdy messed up;...BUT..from this moment on,Im going to drink water water water(which I never do) and Im going to turn on my music after I run my daily errands,and work out...Thank you for responding.,.You might have encouraged me to fix it now..

I have not been 140 since I was 16..I got pregnant at 17, had him at 18,then I got married and had my daughter at 20,then my 2nd son at 21,then my 3rd son at 25...I had major postpartum with my daughter and it got worse with my 2nd son...Ive been struggling with my weight for 12 yrs now..Im so sad over it. my highest weight when pregnant wat around 245 I think..but not pregnant my highest was about 220..Ive spent the past 12 yrs over 200 mostly..at one point I did get to 170... I told myself when im 30 im going to be fit...well now im 31.. I want sooo desperatly to be happy and in shape ..I deserve it .. I feel like im always sad..Its not fair to my hubby or kids... I need to start my blog today so I can put down everything I eat and feel...in front of everyone..even if its embarrasing... so thank you again:)
